Creating Applications using Access - DB06

General Description

Develop and distribute custom applications based upon the power and flexibility of the Microsoft Jet engine. Code extra functionality and a customised interface into multi-user information processing systems.

Target Audience

This session is intended for participants interested in developing the comprehensive databases utilising the Microsoft Jet engine/Microsoft Access.

Pre-requisites

Participants should be able to create the fundamental aspects of a relational database (tables, relationships, queries, forms and reports) using Access. Experience working with macros or basic programming is an advantage.

  • Deploy an Access database application using Developer tools
  • Review considerations for producing and deploying Access based applications
